The front veranda welcomes you into the open plan living room with a wood burning fire (and airconditioning). Push back the Plantation shutters for views to the garden - you'll know you are really on holiday!

The king size bed is adjacent to the living room and can be closed off by sliding plantation doors if you choose - or simply enjoy the space and light and views out the windows.

A beautiful bathroom offers you an indulgent deep slipper bath, a walk in shower and beautiful window - again with Plantation shutters you can open up the windows and your loved one can pass you a glass of bubbly while you loll in the bath! Perfect!

The hallway hides a full laundry ready for you if required and this leads you into the beautifully equipped kitchen with a built in bench seat, lovely dining table, and full cooking facilities, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine too. From here you can also wander onto the back veranda where chairs are placed for you to enjoy your time in the morning sun sipping your coffee. 

A 2 day breakfast hamper is included in your stay, so no need to go anywhere, just hide away!

WiFi? Of course. Television of course. Total peace and privacy - absolutely. You will love this country cottage - and only 5 minutes from Sassafras village and all the lovely walks of the Dandenongs.

Wood Fire Policy: The lighting of wood burning fires and fire pits at properties will be prohibited from the beginning of the declared fire danger season (generally December to as late as May, subject to change). Please enquire for more details. It is also prohibited on all days of Total Fire Ban at any time of the year. Please see www.cfa.vic.gov.au/home If there is no wood and kindling provided at your property for indoor wood fires, it will be because of this policy. The collecting and burning of twigs, leaves and branches from outside your property to use on an indoor fire is strictly forbidden at anytime.
