In walking distance to Olinda Village and a short drive to Mt Dandenong and local attractions, Cottage in the Forest, is ideally located for exploring everything the Dandenongs has to offer.

And although only less than hour from Melbourne the world will feel a million miles away.

There is air conditioning for your summer stay at Cottage in the Forest. Wi Fi is complimentary, however in 'the hills' connection can be unstable, and this is out of our control.

Please note that the driveway is 4WD access only and you might need to park at the top of the driveway and walk down to the cottage - call us for further information.

Wood Fire Policy: The lighting of wood burning fires and fire pits at properties will be prohibited from the beginning of the declared fire danger season (generally December to as late as May, subject to change). Please enquire for more details. It is also prohibited on all days of Total Fire Ban at any time of the year. Please see www.cfa.vic.gov.au/home If there is no wood and kindling provided at your property for indoor wood fires, it will be because of this policy. The collecting and burning of twigs, leaves and branches from outside your property to use on an indoor fire is strictly forbidden at anytime.
